1. Operation
1.6.2 Warning Conditions
Auto PSI Low
– This warning will activate when the spray valve pressure begins to fall below the desired pressure
setting. It is usually an indication that the drain and filters need to be cleaned. If not acted upon, this warning will
lead to an alarm.
Auto PSI High
– This warning activates when the spray valve pressure rises above the desired pressure setting.
The warning is usually an indication that the spray valves need to be cleaned.
Motion Not Zeroed
– This warning will activate if the spray rack needs to be reset.
Low pH Level
– This warning activates when the pH balance in the tank goes below the desired pH setting. It is
typically cleared by running a dosing cycle.
Tank Not Full
– In order to operate efficiently, the DECI should have a full tank prior to running a cycle. When the
tank is not at the minimum level, this warning will activate alerting the operator that the tank needs to be filled.
Temperature Limit Exceeded
– If the tank temperature exceeds the temperature limit this warning activates.
While active no device that adds heat to the system can be turned on. This warning will clear once the tank
temperature falls below the temperature limit.
Anytime a warning condition is activated, the system is alerting the operator to a condition that should be addressed
at the first available opportunity. It does not mean that the operator should shut down the cycle immediately,
however it should be known that warnings will eventually trigger alarms which must be addressed to avoid
damaging the DECI.
NOTE
Dosing Error
– If the dosing cycle doesn’t run within the preset limits the alarm activates.
PSI Extreme Low
– This alarm activates when the valve pressure falls below the low tolerance set point. Operator
should check the tank drain and screen for buildup.
PSI Extreme High
– This alarm activates when the valve pressure rises above the high tolerance set point. Operator
should check the spray valves for residue buildup.
Draining Error
– If the draining cycle doesn’t run within the preset limits the alarm activates.
Dosatron Maintenance Due
– Once the preset time between Dosatron maintenances is reached, the Dosatron
Maintenance Alarm will alert the operator.
Motion Error
- If motion is requested and the axis does not move the alarm becomes active. Check motion
assembly for potential jams or cable detachment.
Defoamer Required
- If the system detects that there is excess foam in the system the alarm activates. Add
defoamer to the system and press the CLEAR ALARM button.
HMI Comm Error
- If the HMI or PLC stop communicating with one another this alarm will become active. To
resolve a system restart may be necessary.
