Cable Color Code Identification

3.8.3

Terminated Dedicated Cable Pairs On Isolation Jacks

The dedicated cable pairs are to be terminated onto the isolation jacks. The tip of 
the jack is the 'Tip' conductor and the shorter or higher pin on the jack is the 'Ring' 
conductor location. The jacks are numbered from top to bottom, with the top jack 
being number 1. The jack may utilize a screw terminal or wire wrap connection 
method.
