Condition
When parking or storing a Taycan for a prolonged period of time, the recommendations and procedures
in the Owner’s Manual and other customer-facing documentation may be incomplete, unclear, or difficult
to understand.
Technical Background
As a Battery Electric Vehicle, specific procedures are recommended to ensure vehicle operation and to reduce the
aging and wear and tear of the 12-volt and high-voltage batteries.
Service Information
Please review the recommendations given in this letter in addition to existing customer-facing and technical litera
ture (Owner’s Manual, Workshop Manual, and Technical Information bulletins, for example).
The letter on page 3 provides recommendations on Taycan long-term parking or storage, and may be provided to
customers where appropriate. If a customer plans to store their vehicle for more than 3 months, it is recommended
to discuss additional options for periodic vehicle inspections or service.
This ATI will be updated as new information is released or becomes available, and other customer-facing literature
and will be updated in due course.
