If the red zone is reached during acceleration, fuel
feed is interrupted.

Risk of damage to the engine (over revving) when
shifting to a lower gear.
e Make sure not to exceed the maximum permis-
sible engine speed when shifting down.

Gear shift assist
An upshift indicator is displayed to help with per-
formance-oriented driving. The gear shift assist vis-
ualizes a prompt to the driver to upshift to the next
highest gear with a pre-indication as the segments
fill up. The segment color changes in sequence from
white to yellow to red.

When all the segments are filled in red, a + sign ap-
pears next to the engaged gear in the display as a
prompt to shift to the next-higher gear.
