Activating and deactivating service mode

Please contact the Security Operating Center
(SOC) before and after having the vehicle
serviced.
e
During servicing, notify your authorized Porsche
dealer that the vehicle is equipped with PVTS
Plus.
In addition :
e
PVTS Plus with driver card: Leave the driver card
inside the vehicle during servicing to ensure that
PVTS Plus is deactivated.

If the capacity of the driver card/remote keypad
battery is too low, a text message is automatically
sent to the mobile phone number provided. A notice
appears on the multifunction display.

Changing the driver card battery
1. Switch off the driver card and carefully open it
using a suitable tool (such as a screwdriver).

2. Change the battery (check polarity).
3. Assemble the driver card and press it together
firmly.
Crash notification (emergency
call)

The Safety Services service is registered
(www.porsche.com/connect).
Under certain circumstances, data is sent to the
Porsche emergency call center immediately after an
accident and is used to determine the required
rescue measures (current position of the vehicle,
chassis number, etc.).
If necessary, the contact person at the Porsche
emergency call center will forward data to a public
emergency call center. Depending on the country, the
contact person at the Porsche emergency call center
can call the mobile phone number stored in the
customer portal.
Messages appear in the multifunction display for the
various actions and if an emergency call
cannot be
activated.

Information
Make sure that the driver card/remote keypad is also
returned with the vehicle after servicing.
WARNING
Risk of Internal Burns or
Death from Swallowing
the Lithium Coin Cell
(button battery)
The vehicle key contains a lithium coin cell (battery).
Swallowing the battery can cause internal burns
within two hours and this can result in death.

Keep removed or new batteries out of children's
reach.
e
Keep vehicle keys out of children's reach.
Children could open the driver card and remove
the battery.
e
If the battery is swallowed or inserted into a body
orifice, seek medical attention from a doctor
immediately.
