Multifunction Display
Not all functions are explained in detail in the Owner’s
Manual. The examples will help you understand the
functions quickly and clarify the menu structure.

Selecting menus and functions/options

Press the control lever down 3 or up 4 .
Confirm selection (Enter)

Press the control lever forward 1 .
Skip back one or more selection levels

Pull the control lever one or more times toward
the steering wheel

Skipping directly to the first letter of the
required list entry in long phone and audio lists
e
Press and hold the control lever down 3 or up 4 .
A letter selection is displayed.
e
Select the desired first letter.
The cursor skips to the first list entry with the
selected first letter.

Setting and Operating
while Driving
Operating and making settings to vehicle compo-
nents while driving could distract you from the traffic
situation. You may lose control of the vehicle.

Only use these components while driving if the
traffic situation allows you to do so safely.

If in doubt, stop in a suitable place and perform
complex operations or make settings only when
the vehicle is stationary.
Information
The multifunction display is only ready to use when
the ignition is switched on.
For safety reasons, some functions are only available
when the vehicle is stationary.
