Activating and

deactivating sport

mode for electronic

stability control

The stability system (ESC

) is always activated

– it cannot be switched off. However, the driver

can select sport mode, which allows for a more

active driving experience.

The driver display indicates

activated Sport mode by dis-

playing this symbol with a con-

stant glow until the function is

deactivated or the engine is

switched off. The next time the

engine is started, the system is

back in its normal mode again.

1. Tap on in the centre display.

2. Press

Drive

3. Select to activate or deactivate

ECS

Sport mode cannot be selected when one of the

following functions is activated:

• Speed limiter
• Cruise control
• Adaptive cruise control
• Pilot Assist
