MAINTENANCE PROGRAM
MAINTENANCE PROGRAM OVERVIEW
To ensure many trouble-free miles of snowmobiling enjoyment, follow recommended regular maintenance and perform
service checks as outlined in this manual. The recommended maintenance schedule calls for service and maintenance
inspections at 150 miles (240 km), 500 miles (800 km), 1000 miles (1600 km), and 2000 miles (3200 km). These
inspections should be performed by a qualified service technician. For continued optimum performance and
component life, continue maintenance checks at 2000 mile (3200 km) intervals.
In addition to performing routine maintenance checks and adjustments, several pre-ride, pre-season, and storage
inspections / operational checks are required.
PRE-RIDE INSPECTION
The following items should be inspected pre-ride:

• Inspect the drive belt condition runout

• Check for proper coolant level
Brake System
• Inspect brake lever
• Inspect parking brake
Electrical System
• Inspect auxiliary shut-off switch for proper operation
• Inspect throttle release switch for proper operation
• Inspect ignition switch for proper operation
• Inspect headlight / brake light for proper operation.
• Inspect hand / thumbwarmers for proper operation.
• Inspect PERC reverse system for proper operation.
Chassis / Suspension
• Verify front / rear suspension bolts for proper torque
• Verify steering fasteners / linkage / handlebars for
proper torque and operation
• Verify ski fasteners for proper torque
• Inspect ski skags
