Final Assembly, Cont.

7. Tighten adjuster bolt locknut (A) securely while

holding the adjuster bolt (B).

8. Install chaincase cover gasket in chaincase with

gap at the top. Install chaincase cover and torque

cover bolts to specification.

9. Add 9 oz. (11 oz. on models equipped with

reverse) of Polaris chaincase oil to the

chaincase. Verify proper level with dipstick.

10. Torque jackshaft bearing set screws to

specification (if so equipped).

11. Lubricate bearings with Polaris Premium All

Season grease.
