WINCH /CONTACTOR
LOCATION
Both the front and rear winch contactor are located
under the left rear fender.

Winch Contactor Removal
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove
the wires from the winch contactor. Remove the
bolts that secure the winch contactor to the frame.
2. Refer to the wiring schematic on the next page to
properly reattach the wires to the contactor.

WINCH SWITCH
INSTALLATION
1. Remove the front (A) and rear (B) bolts from the
master cylinder clamp. Be careful not to lose the
spacers (C).
2. Rotate the winch mini--rocker switch upward and
mount as shown. Route the wire between the
switch mounting bracket and the master cylinder
clamp, next to the front spacer.
3. Reposition the spacers between the switch
mounting bracket and the master cylinder clamp
and reinstall the bolts to secure the switch. Torque
the rear bolt first, then torque the front bolt.
Torque to 25 in./lbs. (3 N/m).
4. Secure the cables to the handlebars as needed
with the new panduits.
