MacBAT 5

–

USER GUIDE. Version 1.0

Ensure if device is equipped with internal modem. Basically this can be done by investigating the housing and
looking for FME antenna connector.

First step is to go to Internal Modem tab in software and choose the desired way of modem work.

Available options:

•

OFF

–

modem turned off or not installed

•

Online mode (PULL) on external power supply & Schedules

–

device will be constantly connected online and available via

fixed IP address of SIM card

–

PULL mode. In certain moments it will start the schedules and send data independently to

the constantly established connection. Note: during the schedule execution online access to the device is disabled.

•

Schedules

–

modem default state is offline. Modem starts transmission at configured date and time executing actions such

as: data sending to http server, connection with FTP server, time synchronization with NTP server, setting short call window

–

PULL mode in limited time.

•

Online mode (PULL) on external power supply

–

device will be constantly connected online and available via fixed IP address

of SIM card

–

PULL mode. In difference to the first mode

–

regardless of the schedules configuration, device will not be

reacting on their presence.
