10 Overview: Connector Names

Ethernet Connector

The Ethernet connector allows the NTx-Pro IP Engine and host PC to communicate over Ethernet. The
host PC sends the IP Engine commands; the IP Engine streams images and responds to the commands.
All network traffic is based on standard Ethernet protocols.

JTAG Connector

This connector is used in conjunction with the IP Offering of the NTx-Pro; it serves for an alternative
configuration of the FPGA, debugging purposes and boundary scan tests.

Power Connector

The power connector receives 5V to 16V of unfiltered DC input.

NOTE!

The NTx-Pro power circuitry is most efficient with 5V unfiltered DC input.
