12  3D quality control

A quality control test must be carried out on the X-ray unit once a month in

order to ensure consistent image quality.
A separate software program called Planmeca Device Tool QA has been

installed on your computer for this purpose.

NOTE

The views shown here are from software version 5.0.1. The views may be

slightly different in later software versions. To check the software version of

your Planmeca Device Tool QA program, go to Info > About.

12.1 Tools required

Remove any patient supports attached to the X-ray unit. Attach this test

phantom into the adapter.
