Appendix B: Planet Smart Discovery Utility

For easily listing the industrial wall-mount Gigabit router in your Ethernet environment, Planet Smart Discovery

Utility from PLANET download center is an ideal solution.

The following installation instructions guide you to running the Planet Smart Discovery Utility.

Step 1

: Download the

Planet Smart Discovery Utility

to the administrator PC.

Step 2

: Run this utility and the following screen appears.

Step 3

: Press the

“Refresh”

button for the currently connected devices in the discovery list as shown in the

following screen:

Step 3

: Press the

“Connect to Device”

button and then the Web login screen appears.

The fields in the white background can be modified directly, and then you can apply the new setting

by clicking the “

Update Device

” button.
