The USB drive appears as a folder on the NAS-7400 when you create a
network drive on a Linux PC.

Macintosh PC
The USB drive appears as a folder on the NAS-7400 when you create a
network drive on a Macintosh PC.

3.10 Disconnecting a USB Drive

To disconnect a USB drive or memory stick from the NAS-7400:

Be sure that no files on the USB drive or memory stick are still open.

ii.

Unplug the USB drive or memory stick from the NAS-7400. The
NAS-7400 automatically unmounts the USB drive or memory stick.
