23.3 Commands for ARP Configuration
23.3.1 arp
Command:
arp
<ip_address> <mac_address
> {interface [ethernet] <

no arp
<ip_address>
Function:
Configures a static ARP entry; the “
no arp
<ip_address>
” command deletes a ARP entry of the specified IP
address.
Parameters:
<ip_address>
is the IP address, at the same field with interface address;
<mac_address>
is the MAC address;
ethernet
stands for Ethernet port;
<portName>
for the name of layer2 port.
The
maximum
of static number is
1000.
Default:
No static ARP entry is set by default.
