3.10 E-Mail
Using E-Mail function, user can send an e-mail with attached image file that has been shot
triggered with an external sensor or the built-in object detection function. The image file also
can be sent periodically.
Common
You may setup SMTP mail parameters for future event-message receiving such as object
detected or sensor activated.
E-Mail Enable:
To enable or disable E-Mail function.
E-mail to:
Type the receiver’s e-mail address.
Note
: you can specify multiple recipient email
addresses at the time.
From:
Type the sender’s E-mail address. This address is used for reply e-mails.
Subject:
Type the subject/title of the e-mail.
SMTP Server:
Type the SMTP server name or the IP address of the SMTP server.
Port:
Set port number of SMTP service.
Need Authentication:
Select the authentication required when you send an e-mail.
On
: if authentication is required when an e-mail is sent.
Off
: if no authentication is required when an e-mail is sent.
User name:
Type the user name for the SMTP server if
Authentication

On

Password:
Type the password for the SMTP server if
Authentication

SMTP Test:
Send a test mail to mail server to check this account is available or not.
