For
both types of gas
(LPG or natural gas), a standard-compliant
gas hose
made of stainless steel
can be used. This type of connection can be used both
for « built-in » (e.g.: integrated in a kitchen unit) and for free-standing appliances.
❖
Only
use a steel gas hose that conforms to standards. The length of the steel gas
hose
must not exceed 2.00 metres
.
If you want to connect the appliance to an
LPG supply
using a steel gas hose,
please always follow and observe all relevant safety instructions and
information regarding LPG in chapter 2.6.2
.

OW TO CONNECT THE APPLIANCE TO THE
NATURAL GAS OR
LPG
SUPPLY USING A STEEL GAS HOSE
1.
Position the seal (
C
) between the thread of the steel gas hose (
F
) and the gas
connection of the appliance (
½″
/

): s. fig. below.
2.
Then screw the steel gas hose (
F
) onto the gas connection of the appliance (
B
)
carefully and tighten it: s. fig. below.
3.
Ensure that the steel gas hose is installed properly.
4.
Carry out a leak test (e.g. with soap solution,
never
with a flame).
