2.5.1 Installation of the one-way valve
❖
If your appliance does not have the one-way valve installed at the factory, you
still need to install it. The following figures only show an example of how to install
the one-way valve, as the exhaust air outlet may vary depending on the model and
configuration of the appliance.
❖
The one-way valve consists of
two flap parts
(
a
/
b
). You must install both flap
parts individually in the housing of the exhaust air outlet (
c
/ s. fig. below).

NSTALLATION STEPS
1.
Each of the two individual flap parts (
a

b
) consist of a semicircle including an
axle (
d
). In the centre of the axle (
d
) of a flap part is an axle pin (
e
/ s. fig. below).
2.
Insert the axle (
d
) of a flap part carefully into the corresponding openings (
f
/ on
both sides) in the housing of the exhaust air outlet (
c
); the axle pin (
e
)
must
point
upwards
(s. fig. below).
3.
Repeat step 2 for the other flap part.
4.
Ensure that both parts of the one-way valve are installed properly. The flap parts
must not jam or get caught.
