Connect the SmartLink Cellular device to the back of your meter using the USB cable.

The device is connected. Move to step 3.
1. Power up the SmartLink Cellular device and check the LED color.
The LED should start blinking blue. This indicates
that the device is searching for signal. Wait for two
minutes, then move to step 2.
Plug the power adapter into the device and into a
power outlet.
The device cannot detect any signal at your location.

The Smarktlink Cellular device enables you to add funds to your meter, perform automatic updates, and receive

Make sure that the analog phone line is disconnected from the meter.

There is no need to connect the SmartLink Cellular device to your postage meter for this part.
• Move the device (and power adapter) closer to a window or outside wall.
• Plug in the power adapter as shown in step 1 and wait for five minutes. Then check the LED again.
If the LED does not turn to solid blue, try these steps:
