Setting up a wired network connection
Use a network cable to connect your SendPro C, device to the Pitney Bowes Data Center
with a wired connection.
First, determine the connection type:
1. Tap
Settings
on the toolbar.
2. Tap
Wired
.
3. Check to see which connection type is selected.
4. If your connection type is
DHCP
, follow the steps for
DHCP
. If your connection type is
Static IP
,
follow the steps for
Static IP
.

1. Select
DHCP
.
2. Tap
Connect
.
3. If it does not connect, unplug the power cord.
4. Wait 2 minutes. The screen should turn off after 10 seconds.
5. Plug the power cord back in, ensuring that it is plugged directly into a wall outlet.
6. Quickly tap and release the power button to turn the device back on.
7. Tap the
Settings
icon in the toolbar.
8. Tap
Wired (Ethernet)
and make sure DHCP is selected.
9. Tap
Connect

1. Select
Static
.
2. Contact your internal IT department to record the values you will need to enter for your device. The
values needed are the
IP Address
,
Netmask
,
Gateway
and
DNS Address
.
3. Enter the values you recorded in step 2 for the
IP Address
,
Netmask
,
Gateway
, and
DNS
Address
in the corresponding fields.
4. Tap
Connect
.
5. If it fails to connect, remove the network cable from the back of the device.
6. Tap the
Connect
button. Wait for the attempted connection to fail.
