The created training menu is saved to the device and set as the training
menu to use.
Setting item details
Setting item Description
Training Name Enter the name of this training menu.
Warm Up Set the warm-up time.
Interval Time Set the time for performing an interval after the warm-up.
Interval Target
Set the target power value (target output value) for per-
forming an interval.
Escalation
Set an escalation value when you want a training menu
for which the target power value of the next interval is
higher than that of the previous interval.
(For example, if you wish the interval power to be 200
W in interval segment 1, and then to increase by 5 W for
every next interval segment after that, set this to 5 W.)
Rest Time
Set the time for taking a rest between the previous inter-
val and next interval.
Rest Target
Set the target power value (target output value) for taking
a rest.
Interval Set
Set the number of interval segments to include.
If the number of intervals is set to only 1, the settings of
[Rest Time] and [Rest Target] will be disabled because
there will no longer be a rest.
Cool Down Set the cool down time.
Measuring Your FTP
Ride for 20 minutes to measure the output you can maintain for one hour (FTP
<Functional Threshold Power>).
This device sets a power value of 95% of the measurement result as your current
FTP.
Note
! The value set in [Settings] > [User Settings] > [FTP] or the value of the
analysis result of Cyclo-Sphere is set as the initial value for the FTP.
