Rear case
W hen reassem b ling the rear case, the scre w s m u st b e tightened in a
specific order. Be caref u l not to tighten them in the w rong order forci b ly.
For details, see "Rear Case" in "7. DISASSEMBLY".

Attachin g screws for the HDMI connector
W hen attaching the HDMI connector after replacing the Main Assy,
sec u re the HDMI connector man u ally w ith a scre w dri v er, bu t not
w ith an electric scre w dri v er. If yo u tighten the scre w s too tightly
w ith an electric scre w dri v er, the scre w heads may b e damaged, in
w hich case the scre w s cannot b e u ntightened/tightened any more.
2. On parts replacement

How to dischar g e before replacin g the Assys
A charge of significant v oltage remains in the Plasma Panel e v en
after the po w er is t u rned off. Safely discharge the panel b efore
replacement of parts, in either manner indicated b elo w :
A: Let the panel sit at least for 3 min u tes after the po w er is t u rned off.
B: T u rn the Large Signal System off b efore the po w er is t u rned off
then, after 1 min u te, t u rn the po w er off.

On the settin g s after replacement of the Assys
Some b oards need settings made after replacement of the Assys.
For details, see " 8 . EACH SETTI N G A N D ADJUSTME N T".

Settin g in Factory mode
After a Mask indication into the panel is performed, b e s u re to
set the Mask setting to "OFF" then exit Factory mode.
Adjustments and Settin g s after replacement of the
Assys (Procedures in Factory mode)

Select {PA N EL FACTORY}, {ETC}, then {BACKUP DATA}. (After entering Factory
mode, press [MUTI N G] once, press [E N TER/SET], press [

Select {TRA N SFER}, u sing [

], then hold [E N TER/SET] pressed for at least 5
seconds.

After transfer of b ack u p data is completed, {ETC} is a u tomatically selected, and the
LED on the front panel ret u rns to normal lighting.
2. MAIN Assy: Execution of FINAL SETUP.

Select {I N ITIALIZE} then {FI N AL SETUP}, then press [E N TER/SET]. (After entering
Factory mode, press [MUTI N G] three times, then press [

]. Then hold [E N TER/SET] pressed for at least 5 seconds.

After "FI N AL SETUP IS COMPLETE" is displayed on the screen, t u rn the PO W ER
s w itch of the main u nit off.

and maximum temperature value
