The disc does not have the same re-
gion number as this unit.
Replace the DVD with one bearing the correct
region number.
FRMT READ (FORMAT READ)
Sometimes there is a delay between
the start of playback and when you
start to hear any sound.
Wait until the message disappears and you
hear sound.
ERROR-02-XX
The disc is dirty.
Clean the disc.
The disc is scratched.
Replace the disc.
The disc is loaded upside down.
Check that the disc is loaded correctly.
PROTECT (PROTECTED DISC)
All the files on the inserted disc are
embedded with DRM.
Replace the disc.
SKIPPED (FILE SKIPPED)
The inserted disc contains DRM
protected files.
Select the playable file.
HEAT (THERMAL PROTECTION
IN MOTION)
The temperature of the unit is out-
side the normal operating range.
Wait until the unit returns to a temperature
within the normal operating limits.
EXPIRED (THIS DivX RENTAL
HAS EXPIRED.)
The inserted disc contains expired
DivX VOD content.
Select the playable file.
