5.2.
Zone responses
The parameters defining the zone responses are described in the following table.

Activate Siren
will trigger the sirens when opened while armed.

Ext. SRN in OFF
will trigger the external siren (and the internal one) when opened
while the system is disarmed.
L
No Daytime
Central Station
will not report the CMS if opened when the system is disarmed.
T
Dif. Siren Tone
will sound a different siren tone (AC sirens only) when opened
while armed.
B
Automatic Bypass will automatically be bypassed if opened 3 times or more, while it
is armed (“Swinger Shutdown”). The zone is reset automatically
when the panel is disarmed.
M
Activate Audio
will trigger an audio module (VU-20N/U or MIC-200) when
opened

while armed.
5.3.
Zone sensitivity
Set the zone's sensitivity in milliseconds. The number entered is multiplied by 50. For example,
entering ‘8’ means a sensitivity of 8 times 50, that is 400 milliseconds.
5.4.
Zone name
Set the zone’s name. A name can have up to 13 characters. See section 15.1, on page 77 on how
to enter characters.
5.5.
Partitions
For each zone, set to “+” the partition/s it will be allocated to. This will set the alarm system as a
partitioned/split one.
In the Hunter-Pro Series, as much as 16 partitions can be used. In Captain 8, only 4. For more
details on partitions, refer to section 15.4, on page 78.
5.5.1.
Partition name
Set names for the partitions. The name will be displayed on every keypad that is allocated to the
partition.
To display partitions’ names, enter the User menu “Display Type” and press [ENTR] in the “Show
Part Name” option, as follows:
