Operation

8.1

Safety guidelines

Please note the following safety safety guidelines during operation:

Prior to operation

:

Carry out the daily checks on the protective equipment prior to operation (see Chapter 7,
"Commissioning", section entitled “Function test of the safety device").

8.2

Operating notes

8.2.1

Switch on PSENvip

The PSENvip is ready for operation once supply voltage has been applied and the self test
has been carried out.

}

Switch on the supply voltage.

A self-test runs while the start screen is displayed on screen.

An error message will appear if an error is detected.

INFORMATION

Information on the error that has occurred and how to rectify it can be found
in the chapter entitled "Diagnostics and Troubleshooting".

Rectify the error.

If no error has been detected, the display will show the status of the OSSD
and the protected field mode that is currently selected, which is standard in
the example.
