Planning an external emergency stop device
The system or plant integrator is obligated to take the situations for emergency stop into ac-
count in his risk analysis. If the risk analysis shows that an external emergency stop device
is needed, the position and wiring of the emergency stop pushbutton will need to be
planned.
In the control cabinet the emergency stop pushbutton must be connected to the dedicated
dual-channel FS input for "Emergency stop external" (see

NOTICE
The system or plant integrator is tasked with providing sufficient safety
when wiring and activating an FS input.

Once the reset has occurred, the restart can be triggered.
