Flight Controls
Taking off, landing, and maneuvering along the horizontal plane are done when the Flight Mode toggle is in the NOR position. In
this mode when the throttle stick is in the minimum position the main rotor blades should be at an angle of -2°. When moving
the throttle stick up the motor RPMs will increase and the blade pitch will change from -2° to +9°.
Takeoff and Flight
1. Ensure that the throttle stick is in the full down position and the trim levers are in the correct positions.
2. Place your helicopter down on level ground with the tail boom facing you.
3. Remove the canopy, install the battery, and check the CG.
4. Switch the Tx power switch “on”.
5. Connect the battery to the model and allow it to initialize.
6. Step back at least 3 meters and face the helicopter.
7. Double check to make sure that your flying area is clear of people, pets, furniture, trees, buildings, electric lines or other
obstructions.
8. Double check that the Flight Mode toggle is in the NOR position.
9. Using the GEAR tumbler remove the motor cut safety feature.
10. Slowly move the throttle control stick forward until the rotors begin to spin. The rotors will spin for a couple of seconds to
build up rotor speed before lifting off.
