Note
If one of the parameters is not the same as the value on the placard, enter the correct value and
click on SET MAGNETOMETER PITCH/ROLL OFFSET button. With all fields completed, click on the
STORE MAGNETOMETER OFFSETS button. The Storing Data screen is shown: When the data is
stored the screen shows "SUCCESS!!". CLOSE this window. Do a compass swing after completing the
Alignment Check.

Make sure that the MOUNTING DIRECTION box shows #15 from the drop down menu for
magnetometer #2.
Note
If the mounting direction is not correctly stored, enter the correct value and click on SET

Click on the CLOSE button of the Installation screens.

EXIT the Field Maintenance Software.

Open these circuit breakers:

ADAHRS CH A (ESSENTIAL BUS)
−
ADAHRS CH B (MAIN BUS).

Disconnect the Sub-D cable from the RS 232 connector on the Maintenance box.

Close these circuit breakers:

ADAHRS CH A (ESSENTIAL BUS)
−
ADAHRS CH B (MAIN BUS).

Make sure that the Primary Flight Display (PFD) attitude indication shows the actual aircraft attitude.

De-energize the aircraft electrical system, refer to AMM 12-B-24-00-00-00A-901A-A.

Disconnect the Maintenance box.

Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.

ADAHRS Check Swing
5.1
General
Use an approved compass swing location to do a check swing:
−
After a lightning strike on the aircraft
−
After a magnetic crack detection test
−
After a long storage, of over a year, of the aircraft
−
When it is reported that the ADAHRS shows an incorrect indication
−
After a modification, repair or major replacement of magnetic material which can cause the
ADAHRS to show an incorrect indication
−
After a permanent major relocation of the aircraft
−
After the replacement of the magnetometer
−
When the magnetometer has been subjected to a shock (hard landing or turbulence)
−
After the aircraft has been through a severe electrical storm
−
When there is a change made to the electrical or avionic system
