Safety Conditions
CAUTION
TURN THE PROPELLER SLOWLY BY HAND DURING THIS TEST. THIS WILL MAKE SURE THAT THE
BRUSH BLOCK IS NOT CAUSING BURN MARKS ON THE SLIP RINGS.
CAUTION
DO NOT ALLOW THE PROPELLER DE-ICE BOOTS TO BE HEATED FOR MORE THAN 10 SECONDS.
YOU CAN CAUSE SEVERE DAMAGE TO THE COMPOSITE BLADES. IF THE DE-ICE BOOTS ARE
HEATED FOR MORE THAN 10 SECONDS, CONTACT HARTZELL PRODUCT SUPPORT.
CAUTION
WAIT FOR 2 MINUTES BETWEEN TESTS TO ALLOW THE PROPELLER BLADES TO COOL BEFORE
YOU DO THE OPERATIONAL TEST AGAIN.
