Front Connectors
Table 5 describes the connectors on the front panel of the Mosport 1TE/2TE.
Rear Panel
The following are the rear connectors and indicators of the Mosport 1E-F / 2E-F / 1TE / 2TE models.
Rear Connectors
The Mosport 1TE/2TE has four main sections on its rear panel. These sections may or may not be available
depending on your Mosport 1TE/2TE model:

WAN/LAN Slot: Contains the Ethernet connectors and their associated LEDs.

Service Slot 1: Currently unused.

Service Slot 2: Contains 1 E1/T1 connector.

Service Slot 3: Contains 1 E1/T1 connector (available only on the Mosport 2E-F/2TE).

ETH 1-4 Provides the state of the LAN network connected to the ETH 1-4 connectors:
• Green: The Mosport 1TE/2TE uses a 10 Mbps connection.
• Yellow: The Mosport 1TE/2TE uses a 100 Mbps connection.
The LED remains ON to indicate a Link and blinks if traffic passes.
9. ETH 5 Provides the state of the WAN network connected to the ETH 5 connector:
• Green: The Mosport 1TE/2TE uses a 10 Mbps connection.
• Yellow: The Mosport 1TE/2TE uses a 100 Mbps connection.
The LED remains ON to indicate a Link and blinks if traffic passes.
10. WI/FI This LED is not currently used on the Mosport 1TE/2TE.
11. ERROR/
ALARM This LED is not currently used on the Mosport 1TE/2TE.
12. POWER/
UPS Indicates the status of the power feeding:
• Green: The Mosport 1TE/2TE is powered by its power supply.
• Yellow: The Mosport 1TE/2TE is powered by an external UPS.

13. USB USB 2.0 Type A connector.
14. RS-232 RS-232 connector that connects the Mosport 1TE/2TE with a serial terminal such
as a PC or workstation with a RS-232 interface. You must use a cross-over or null-
modem cable.
