Operating Instruction For

Classic Chronograph 28200 Series

Congratulations on owning a Pierre Laurent watch which contains one of the best quartz movement in the world.

The quartz movement in your Pierre Laurent timepiece is powered by an energy cell (Renata 395) which will last approximately 48 months. We recommend
to replace the battery every four years as a dead battery may leak out acid and cause damage to the watch.

Case:
46.0 mm in diameter, round, solid stainless-steel case, water resistant to 100 metres with a non-glare coated sapphire crystal.

Water Resistance:
All Pierre Laurent watches are tested under atmospheric pressure to meet international standards. Water resistance is achieved by installing seals between
the major parts of the watch case. The watch is fitted with a series of gaskets and a specially designed crown, which together seal the watch and prevent
moisture from entering the case. To maintain the integrity of this water-resistant system, periodic maintenance is required. The gaskets and crown are
subject to wear and deterioration under conditions of normal use. Therefore, these parts should be inspected and replaced as needed each time the watch is

opened for service.

Screw-Down Crown:
The sport watch is equipped with a special screw-down crown, which helps seal the case against water and moisture. Before attempting to set the time or
date, you must first unlock the screw-down crown by turning it anti-clockwise until it loosens (approximately five to six rotations). After your watch has been
set to the correct time and date, by using two fingers, apply a little pressure and turn the crown clockwise gently until the screw thread of the crown and the

case pipe is engaged. Continue to turn the crown until it is tight to achieve water resistance.

There are four crown positions:

C.0

Normal position: the crown is tight against the case for maximum water resistance.

C.1

Neutral position: unlocking the crown by turning anti-clockwise. In this position, the crown can be turned in either direction.
However, it will not do anything.

C.2

Date quick set position: to set the date without affecting the hour, minute and second hands.

C.3

Hand setting position, and chrono hands synchronizing position.
