CHAPTER 10: EMAIL AND SMS ALERTS
Click on the Email and SMS Alerts button on the navigation panel located at the left part of the
user interface. Explanation is provided whenever is necessary. This page shows the phone
groups, organized into 6 Operation group with 8 operational numbers each (total of 48), 2
groups of escalation group with 8 escalation numbers each (total of 16), 8 authorize numbers
and 1 forwarding number. Click save for any changes to take effect. For each number, an
optional name is can be entered for easy identification of the contact person.
Operation Numbers (A-F):
This group of users are those who will receive alarm SMS when one
or more digital inputs are activated (open contact to close contact or vice versa). Analog input
is activated (normal to high vice versa or normal to low vice versa). Up to 48 mobile phone
numbers can be assigned on this group. Phone numbers of up to 15 digits and (+) are valid
formats. Example: 09123456789, +659123456789
Escalation Numbers:
When alarm is triggered, escalation group timers are activated. If none of
the operation numbers who received the SMS prompt of FMGuard response an
acknowledgement reply when the escalation timer expires, the alarm message will be sent to
escalation number(s). There are 16 escalation numbers with timer from 5-60 minutes.
Authorized Numbers:
There are 8 authorized numbers in this group. They are the only group
with administrator privileges. They are able to perform all remote commands available on
FMGuard.
Forward Number:
This number (if assigned) will receive alarm SMS like operation numbers. Any
incoming or outgoing SMS to FMGuard will be forwarded to this number. This function is in effect
serves as a remote event logger.
