To reach the battery «

», proceed as follows:

1. rest the scooter on its centre stand;

2. unscrew the 4 screws «

», remove the footrest «

».

3. remove the two battery fixing screws «

».

IN ORDER TO AVOID DAMAGING THE ELECTRIC SYSTEM, NEVER DISCON-
NECT THE WIRING WHILE THE ENGINE IS RUNNING.

UPON CONNECTING THE BATTERY TERMINALS, AVOID CONTACT WITH THE
METAL BODY

WARNING

DO NOT TRY TO REMOVE THE BATTERY SEAL. THE ELECTROLYTE IN THE
BATTERY CONTAINS SULPHURIC ACID: AVOID CONTACT WITH EYES, SKIN
AND CLOTHES. IN THE CASE OF ACCIDENTAL CONTACT, RINSE WITH ABUN-
DANT OF WATER AND CONSULT A DOCTOR.
