Controlling with HID
HID (Human Interface Device) denotes an input or output device that is connected to the
E-871.1A1N and is intended for operating it manually. Typical HIDs are joysticks and
gamepads.
HID control means controlling motion variables of a mechanics' axis connected to the
E-871.1A1N by displacing an axis of the HID.

Operating Principle
An HID's axis can control the following motion variables of a mechanics' axis connected to
the E-871.1A1N:

Absolute target position: The relationship between the displacement of the axis of the
human interface device and the target position of the mechanical axis is created from a
lookup table by the E-871.1A1N.
