Introduction
7800mAh UPS Battery Backup with
12V DC and USB Ports
Most homes or even small businesses don't include a
backup power solution in case there is a power failure.
An alternative is to use an Uninterruptible Power
Supply or UPS. A UPS allows you to keep your devices
powered on, even when there is a power failure. The
PIPS-UPS-12V5V is a portable UPS battery backup
solution that provides a 12V DC and 5V USB port,
allowing you to power devices such as cameras,
portable routers, lights, and more. The unit includes a
7800mAh battery, typically providing up to 8 hours of
usage under normal conditions. Built-in over charging
protection, discharging, and short circuit protection
provides safety for your devices.
Operation
1. Connect a 12V DC power adapter to the input. This
will plug into the AC socket on the wall
2. Connect the device you will be powering with the
included DC cable from the output port
3. If you have a 5V USB device, you can use the USB port
to power / charge your device
4. A 7800mAH lithium-ion battery is included for
providing up to 8 hours of usage (under normal
conditions). To charge the UPS battery backup, it
typically takes 8 hours
5. A red LED indicates the unit is charging. A solid green
LED indicates the unit is full charged
6. Charge the unit at least once a month to extend the
batteries service life
1. Check the voltage, polarity, and current requirements
of your device before connecting the unit
2. Please charge the unit fully before initial use
3. The unit contains lithium batteries
4. Do not disassemble the unit. There are no user
serviceable parts inside
5. Do not expose the unit to fire or excessive heat
