Product image

LED status indicators

The sensor has two LED indicators.

The LED indicators show general states and error messages of the safety switch.

 

See Section “LED status indicators and switching states” on page 43.

Positioning arrows

Two arrows

 are printed on the sensor, one arrow on each side. 

One arrow

 is printed on the actuator, on one side only.

The arrows indicate the permissible actuation positions and correct alignment of the sensor 

and actuator with one another.

 

See Section “Actuation positions and travel directions” on page 23 and Section “Mount-

ing” on page 26.

Mounting slots

In the housing, the sensor and actuator each has two mounting slots each for mounting to 

the safety equipment. The 3-step mounting slots of the actuator can be used to set the 

required distance to the sensor. The actuator is mounted using the provided safety screws.

M12 connection

The sensor is connected via an 8-pos. M12 connector.

Year of manufacture and 

version

The year of manufacture and the current version number are located on the housing under 

the serial number in the format YY VX.X.X.
