4.7 Firewall
The firewall of the controller is deactivated by default.
Recommended:
• Activate the firewall.

Always make any changes to the firewall settings on both devices.
– If you use the RFC 4072R as a PROFINET controller, you must authorize all incom-
ing connections via all UDP ports if the firewall is activated. Otherwise, it is not pos-
sible to establish a connection to PROFINET devices.
