WARNING Protect personnel against electrical shocks
The luminaire connections shall be performed by qualified
personnel in conformance with local and national electrical
codes. Ensure that the AC service is OFF before installation or
maintenance. Do not switch AC service to ON until the entire
installation is complete.
1)
Installing on Tenon
Open tool-less access door by pushing spring latches (2).
Once open, the door can be removed if needed. Loosen the
two [RX1] or four [RX2] bolts to the pipe clamp(s) making
sure not to remove them completely. Slide fixture on to
tenon while making sure wires are not pinched.
NOTE: If a second pipe clamp is required for the RX1
contact factory for a modification.
2)
Leveling Luminaire
Using the different step heights, adjust the luminaire as
needed using the bubble level (see image at left) to confirm
that the luminaire is level.
3)
Connecting AC Power
Connect AC wires from pole to wires provided from fixture
in terminal block (or wire directly into terminal block).
For safety reasons, the ground leads must always be connected
before any other leads.
4)
Securing Luminaire to Tenon
Tighten one [RX1] or both [RX2] set(s) of pipe clamp bolts
to fully secure the luminaire to the pole.
Torque bolts to 10 to 15 ft-lbs.
CAUTION! Prevent over torque damage.
Do not over torque nuts and bolts.
Arrange all wires to allow the door to close without
pinching any wires and then close the door. Ensure both
latches are securely in place. AC service can now be turned
ON.
