Telephone connection
Telephone handset
Dear Customer,
With the help of this guide you can install your fax machine quickly and easily. After you have finished
the installation press the
HELP/INSTALL
key for 2 seconds. Your machine will then guide you
through the main settings as well as the adjustment to your telephone line.
To connect the handset, turn your machine
upside down. Connect the handset with the
spiral cable to the fax machine.
The socket for the telephone cable is on the
bottom of the fax machine. One plug of the
telephone cable has to be connected to your fax
machine, the other plug to the line socket on the
wall.
Insert the other end of the
spiral cable into the socket
identified with a handset
symbol.
The sockets for the handset
cable and the telephone
cable are on the bottom
of the fax machine.
Connect one plug
to the line socket on the wall.
Connect the other plug of
the telephone cable to the
socket identified with
LINE
.
Connect the handset to the
spiral cable.
