Prerequisites
● Device is switched off
● Mains plug is removed
Required consumables
● Common cleaning agent (e.g. mild household detergent).
● Clean, soft cloth
External cleaning of the device
1. Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the surfaces.
2. Allow the surfaces to dry thoroughly after cleaning.
9.2 Cleaning the filter mat
Cleaning interval
Define the cleaning interval by visual inspections and as a function of the local dust inci-
dence.
Required aids
● Vacuum cleaner
Procedure
1. Clean the dust filter at the air inlet as soon as a visible coating can be seen, and before the air
circulation drops below the required level.
2. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove the dust from the filter mat through the ventilation slots.
3. Replace the filter mat in the case of severe contamination.
9.3 Changing filter mat

Procedure
1. Change the filter mat in the case of severe contamination.
2. Grasp the filter cover at the recess provided for this purpose and swivel the filter cover out approx.
45°.
3. Detach the filter cover.
4. Remove the filter mat from the filter cover.
5. Dispose of the filter mat.
6. Insert the new filter mat in the filter cover.
7. Fit the front cover back on the front panel.
