AIRBAG
WARNING
- if the air bag light, which is located on
the instrument cluster, stays on after
6 times blinking, or when the ignition
switch is placed in the ON position, the
air bag light does not light up and does
not blink 6 times, vehicle’s owner should
have the air bag system inspected by an
authorized Iran Khodro dealer as soon
as possible, otherwise vehicle’s owner
shall be responsible for any and all loss
due to ignorance and delay in referring
to an authorized dealer.

Passenger air bag is located in the
upper right hand dashboard and SRS
AIRBAG carved on it.
The air bags are designed to inflate
only in severe frontal collisions. They
are not designed to inflate in rear
impacts, side impacts, rollover or minor
frontal collision. The air bags deploy
only one time during an accident. They
inflates and deflates so quickly that you
may not realize that it has activated. An
activated air bag does not prevent you
view and is not so tough that you could
not exit the vehicle.
Be aware that no system can prevent
all possible injuries that may occur in
an accident.
Airbag
In addition to safety belt and force
limiter, your vehicle is equipped with air
bag too.
When you turn the ignition switch to
the “ON” position, the Air Bag light on
the instrument cluster comes on.
Otherwise, (as below) suggests a fault
in the air bag system or safety belt pre-
tension which should be referred to the
dealer of the car and fix it. Otherwise,
the vehicle owner will be responsible.
- Air bag light stay on after blinking 6
times.
- When the ignition switch is placed in
the ON position, the air bag light does
not light up and does not blink.The
driver’s front air bag is located behind
the center pad of the steering wheel.
The words “SRS Airbag” are molded
NOTE:
To control the air bag indicator flashes, in case
of any two consecutive placing the switch in
ON position, it should be placed at least three
seconds on the off position as well.
