Disassembly, care and storage
As soon as your Cooking Tripod has cooled down after your fire has been extinct, remove any soot with
a soft, dry cloth. For major soiling you can clean your Cooking Tripod with water, a mild detergent and
a soft cloth. Dry well afterwards. The same applies to chain and hooks. Afterwards, push together the
support legs of your Cooking Tripod and fasten slightly by means of the adjustable screws.
Attention: If fastened too firmly the support legs may deform!
Do not stow your Cooking Tripod with chain and hooks unprotected outdoors. Stow all parts only
when they are completely cold, clean and dry. Strictly avoid any kind of humidity. Cover your Cooking
Tripod as well as chain and hooks well or wrap them into a dry cloth to protect all parts from humidity
and flash rust.
Warranty
In the case of proper use, a warranty period of two years will apply to your Petromax Cooking Tripod
from the date of purchase. This does not cover wear parts. If you cannot properly use your Petromax
Cooking Tripod due to a defect in material or manufacturing, you are entitled to a warranty repair.
Contact your retailer for that purpose.
