• The level at a time when the fluid is
cold (20 - 30 0 C) should be used only
as a reference value.
Check the fluid level again at normal
operating temperature (70 - 80
0
C) for
correct level.
• If the level differs between the front and
rear sides of the level gauge, use the
side having the lower level.

Power steering fluid level check
Check the power steering fluid level as
follows :
1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and
apply the parking brake.
2. Keep the fluid temperature at about 20
0
C.
3. Ensure that the steering fluid level in the
reserve tank is between the “MAX” and
“MIN” marks.
4. Slowly add specified clean fluid if the level
is too low. Do not overfill.
For recommanded power steering fluid,
see Section 17.
CAUTIOR
If the fluid level is too low, or if fluid
decreases noticeably, have the system
checked by an authorized Perodua Service
Centre.
