Owner's Manual Permobil X850 MiniFlex

Joystick

Figure 28. Joystick

The joystick is used to control the wheelchair’s speed forwards and back-
wards, to turn and to brake.

The speed is directly proportional to the joystick movement (little movement,
low speed — big movement, high speed). The wheelchair is brought to a con-
trolled stop when you move the joystick back towards the neutral position or
let it go.

The wheelchair is turned by moving the joystick to one side or the other.
