Operation Manual
Supplier: These instructions must be given to the user of this product.
Operator (Individual or Caregiver): Before using this product, read instructions and save for future reference.
WARNINGS:
- This product requires the use of the anti-tip bars on the wheelchair.
- Follow all instructions and safety information provided with the product and provided by the manufacturer of the
wheelchair or other accessories.
- Daily, check the product for proper functioning. DO NOT use the product if any part cannot be tightened or is
broken.
- If you are unable to perform any tasks described in this document, seek assistance by contacting the clinician,
equipment provider, distributor, or Customer Support.
Parts included:
INCREDIBACK or INCREDIBACK Deep; with 2 Moldable Stays; Tools needed: Screwdriver (to
remove and replace the screws from the existing sling back)
Installation
1 Remove the existing sling back from the wheelchair.
2 Install the back on the wheelchair:
A. Attach the vertical straps and position the back:
Lay the back flat on the seat of the wheelchair, with the buckles (G) facing up,
and the zippered top (A) and rounded corners facing toward the front of the
wheelchair.
Using the grommets (C) and the screws that were removed from the sling back,
attach the vertical straps (B) to the upper holes of the wheelchair tubing.
Position the back upright.
B. Attach the three horizontal straps:
TOP: Loop the top strap (D) around the wheelchair tubing, and then buckle and
tighten the strap.
MIDDLE: Loop, buckle, and tighten the middle strap (E).
Note: To open the back-to-seat angle up to 30 degrees, loosen straps (D) and (E).
BOTTOM: Loop, buckle, and tighten the bottom strap (F).
C. Adjust the straps:
Adjust the back to the desired height, using the vertical straps (B).
Note: The straps have rubber backing. When adjusting, it may be easier to first
feed the strap through the clip, and then pull to tighten.

3 If posterior contouring is desired, shape and place the Moldable Stays:
Unzip the zipper (A) at the top to remove the Moldable Stays.
Shape the two Moldable Stays, and place them in the pockets where needed to
achieve the desired contour.
Note: Depending on the back size, either four or six pockets may be provided.
Zip the cover closed to secure the Moldable Stays.
