Network Settings

Chapter 6

Introduction

The Network section is used to configure the parameters that identify the 
IOLAN within the network and how the IOLAN accesses hosts on the 
network. The following configuration windows are available:

IP Settings

—This window configures the IOLAN’s name, IP 

address, and Ethernet information.

z

Advanced

—This window configures hosts that the IOLAN will be communicating with, routes, 

DNS/WINS servers, RIP, Dynamic DNS, and IPv6 Tunnels. 

IPv4 Settings

Overview

The parameters in IPv4 settings are used to access the IOLAN and how the IOLAN accesses the 
network.
