34 . Lambda 365 Users Guide
Installation
1.
Carefully remove the instrument and all of its components from the shipping
container.
2.
Verify that all of the components received match the packing list.
3.
Verify that all system components required for installation are present, this, must
include:

Lambda 365 UV-Visible Spectrophotometer

Interface cable (USB)

Power Cord

UV Express Software CD

Computer systems ( see page 33 for computer requirements)

Place the instrument in a location that is compatible with the required environmental
conditions for operation. Connect the power cord to the plug; the power plug must
be grounded.
WARNING
The electric pow er could be dangerous. Before connecting the
pow er cord, verify that the main pow er sw itch is off.

The Lambda 365 w eighs 23.5 kg. To avoid injury to personnel
or damage to equipment, alw ays use tw o or more people w hen
lifting or carrying the instrument. NEVER attempt to lift the
instrument alone.
