Removing and Returning the Ion Optics Assembly 

 

CAUTION 

 
 

ATTENTION 

To prevent contamination of the mass spectrometer, always wear clean, 
lint-free, powder-free nitrile

,

 nylon,

 

or PVC gloves before touching, 

removing or replacing parts. Never touch these parts with ungloved 
(bare) fingers, as this will introduce contaminants into the system. 

Pour éviter toute contamination du spectromètre de masse, porter 
toujours des gants de nitrile, de nylon ou de PVC sans pelu, sans 
peluches, sans poudre avant de toucher, d'enlever ou de remplacer les 
pièces. Ne touchez jamais ces pièces avec des doigts non agglomérés, 
car cela introduira des contaminants dans le système.

AVERTISSEMENT 

Make sure to vent the instrument and turn the power off and 
unplug the mass spectrometer from the AC power source.  

The mass spectrometer contains high voltage. To prevent the 
risk of shock, unplug the line cord from the AC outlet and 
wait at least one minute before opening or removing any 
instrument cover or panel. 

Assurez-vous d'énerver l'instrument et de mettre l'appareil 
hors tension et de débrancher le spectromètre de masse de la 
source d'alimentation secteur. 

Le spectromètre de masse contient une haute tension. Pour
