6.1
Troubleshooting and Alarm States
Note!
If the DIP switch "Acoustic alarm" is set to ON (see chapter 4.1), an acoustic
signal sounds when an alarm or sensor fault occurs.
LED indication
Cause
Action
All LEDs are off.
The warning device is not
functioning.
Check that the supply voltage is
connected.
"SUPPLY" LED flashes.
System is being put into
operation. Overflow sensor in
warm-up phase
(approx. 10 s ... 20 s).
Wait until the overflow sensor has
reached operating temperature.

"SUPPLY" LED lights up.
■
"SYSTEM OK" LED lights
up.
No alarm at present. The warning system is operating normally.
■
"SUPPLY" LED lights up.
■
"SYSTEM OK" LED
flashing.
No alarm at present. An alarm
occurred in the past.
1. Check the status of the separator.
2. Press the "ALARM RESET" button.

"SUPPLY" LED lights up.
■
"OVERFLOW ALARM"
LED lights up.
Excessive liquid level
It is essential to check the separator
status. If necessary, takes measures to
stop the alarm situation. The alarm
situation can result if:
■
the coalescence filter is blocked or
■
the drain is defective or blocked.
■
"SUPPLY" LED lights up.
■
"OVERFLOW ALARM"
LED flashing.
Sensor fault or lead breakage
Check sensor and sensor installation
and replace the overflow sensor, if
necessary.
■
"SUPPLY" LED lights up.
■
"HIGH OIL LEVEL" LED
lights up.
Maximum oil layer thickness
reached.
It is essential to check the separator
status. Empty (dispose of) the oil/petrol
separator, if necessary.
■
"SUPPLY" LED lights up.
■
"HIGH OIL LEVEL" LED
flashes.
Sensor fault or lead breakage
Check sensor and sensor installation
and replace oil level sensor, if
necessary.
